Software Engineer (Angular, Front-End Focused Full Stack)

Job Description: cc Location: Vadodara / Pune Work Mode: Work from Office Working Hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM Experience: 5+ Years Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong front-end development expertise in Angular and working knowledge of full-stack development using .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing responsive, accessible, high-performance web applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end technologies. The role also involves contributing to backend development using C# and ASP.NET Core, building and integrating RESTful APIs, and collaborating with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders. The candidate should have a strong understanding of modern front-end architecture, UI/UX implementation, application performance, accessibility, security, and maintainable software development practices. Key Responsibilities • Understand business requirements and translate UI/UX designs from Figma or Adobe XD into high-quality, pixel-perfect code. • Estimate development efforts and contribute to technical planning. • Design and develop scalable, maintainable Angular applications using reusable components, modules, lazy loading, and state management. • Build responsive, cross-browser-compatible user interfaces using semantic HTML5 and modern CSS/SCSS. • Develop and maintain reusable UI component libraries and contribute to design systems. • Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1. • Optimize front-end performance, including Core Web Vitals, bundle size, change detection, and rendering. • Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and develop or maintain backend APIs using ASP.NET Core as required. • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver seamless user experiences. • Research and evaluate suitable tools, libraries, and frameworks. • Guide and support junior developers, particularly on front-end development practices. • Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and perform unit testing. • Participate in code reviews, refactoring, debugging, and validation against requirements and test cases. • Follow application security practices, including protection against XSS and CSRF and secure token handling. • Recommend product and user experience improvements. • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, product owners, and other stakeholders. • Maintain technical documentation, participate in Scrum ceremonies, and track tasks using project management tools. • Participate in relevant training and team activities. Required Skills – Must Have Front-End Development • Angular: Strong hands-on experience with Angular 14 or higher; Angular 16+ preferred. • Strong understanding of Angular components, directives, pipes, services, and dependency injection. • Experience with routing, lazy loading, route guards, and HTTP interceptors. • Experience with reactive forms and custom validations. • Good understanding of RxJS and reactive programming patterns. • Knowledge of standalone components and Angular Signals. • Experience with state management tools such as NgRx, NGXS, or signal-based stores. • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+). • Strong knowledge of semantic HTML5 and SEO-friendly markup. • Proficiency in CSS3 and SCSS/SASS, including Flexbox, CSS Grid, responsive design, media queries, transitions, and animations. • Experience ensuring cross-browser compatibility and following CSS architecture practices such as BEM. UI Development, Accessibility & Testing • Experience with Angular Material, PrimeNG, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or similar UI component libraries and CSS frameworks. • Understanding of web accessibility standards, including WCAG. • Experience with front-end performance optimization. • Experience with unit testing using Jasmine/Karma or Jest. Backend Development • Working experience with C# and ASP.NET Core 6 or higher. • Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs. • Understanding of relational database fundamentals, including normalization, indexing, and query performance. • Experience with Entity Framework or Dapper. • Ability to write SQL queries involving joins, subqueries, and related operations. Tools & Development Practices • Experience with Git and version control. • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Redmine, Azure DevOps, or Asana. • Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools. • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Good-to-Have Skills • End-to-end testing using Cypress or Playwright. • Experience with Angular Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Progressive Web Applications (PWA), or micro-frontends using Module Federation. • Experience with Storybook for component development and documentation. • Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, and UI/UX design handoff. • Exposure to other front-end frameworks such as React or Vue. • Backend unit testing using NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest. • Understanding of NoSQL databases. • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Understanding of DevOps tools and technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, Linux fundamentals, and scripting. • Understanding of microservices architecture. Experience & Candidate Profile • Minimum 5+ years of full-stack software development experience. • Strong preference for candidates with substantial hands-on Angular front-end development experience. • Ability to build maintainable, accessible, responsive, and high-performance applications. • Comfortable contributing to both front-end and .NET backend development. • Able to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
