Senior Cloud Software Engineer – Front-End & API Developer Experience: 10–15 Years Work Mode: Remote Contract Duration: 6 Months Work Timings: 11:30 AM – 9:30 PM IST Job Summary We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Cloud Software Engineer with strong expertise in React, TypeScript, Python/FastAPI, REST APIs, Azure Cloud, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate should be capable of working across both front-end development and backend/API development, with strong experience in enterprise application integrations, authentication, production support, and cloud-based application delivery. Candidates should have hands-on experience owning and supporting production-grade applications and should be comfortable working in a modern cloud engineering environment. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable front-end applications using React and TypeScript. • Develop backend services and APIs using Python, preferably FastAPI. • Design and implement secure, scalable REST APIs. • Integrate front-end applications with backend services and enterprise systems. • Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OIDC and SSO. • Deploy and manage applications in Microsoft Azure environments. • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing and deployment. • Integrate applications with internal and external enterprise platforms. • Develop and maintain automated tests for front-end applications. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. • Take ownership of production applications, including performance, reliability and support. • Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, backend, security and product teams. • Contribute to the integration of AI/LLM capabilities into enterprise applications. Mandatory Skills • Strong hands-on experience with React • Strong proficiency in TypeScript • Strong experience in Python backend development • Hands-on experience with FastAPI preferred • Strong understanding of REST API design and development • Experience with Microsoft Azure • Hands-on experience implementing OAuth2 / OIDC / SSO • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines • Experience with enterprise system integrations • Experience with front-end testing frameworks • Experience supporting and owning production applications Preferred Skills • Exposure to AI / Generative AI / LLM integrations • Experience integrating applications with LLM APIs or AI-based services • Knowledge of cloud-native application architecture • Experience with microservices • Understanding of application security and API security • Experience with monitoring, logging and production troubleshooting • Experience working in distributed or remote engineering teams Ideal Candidate Profile We are looking for a strong React + TypeScript developer who also has solid backend experience with Python/FastAPI. The candidate should be comfortable working across: React + TypeScript + Python/FastAPI + REST APIs + Azure + OAuth2/OIDC + CI/CD + Enterprise Integrations Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into applications will be an added advantage. Experience Required 10–15 years of overall software development experience, with strong hands-on experience in modern front-end, backend/API and cloud technologies.
