Java / Spring Boot Developer

Position: Java / Spring Boot Developer – Upgrade & Modernization Location: Remote Duration: 3+ Months Contract Openings: 2 Max Rate: CAD 50/hr + HST – Incorporated Key Requirements: • Strong Core Java and Spring Boot fundamentals • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs • Experience upgrading Java 11/17 to Java 21 • Experience upgrading Spring Boot 2.7 to 3.x/3.5 • Strong Maven and dependency management experience • Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Kafka • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills • JUnit/Mockito experience • Application modernization/migration experience Preferred: Python, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and AWS/Azure/OCI experience.
