About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
The Experience
At Salesforce, our Product Marketers craft inspirational stories and deliver groundbreaking product demos to people around the world. We develop product messaging and positioning, solution marketing, go-to-market programs, campaigns, events, and sales enablement. Our success is defined by our ability to deliver relevant content that creates trials, sales pipeline, and ultimately, new customers.
We are looking for a creative, motivated and passionate Director of Product Marketing to set the vision, messaging and go-to-market strategy for our agentic IT Service solutions. This AI-first role is for an innovative marketing strategist who reimagines how we tell the story, reach IT buyers and bring products to market, using AI in how they work and in what they market.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Your top priorities will be:
Create and set the marketing strategy for IT Service, from solution narrative through GTM motion and launch, with AI and agents at the center of the story.
Create messaging, positioning and content for the full buyer and customer journey, resonating with IT leaders and decision makers (CIOs, VPs of IT and IT operations leaders).
Work with the sales and SE organizations to enable teams and execute sales plays that drive pipeline.
Leading with AI:
Pioneer an AI-first approach to product marketing. Redesign how we research, write, test, personalize and launch using AI and agents, and set the standard for the broader team.
Build and operationalize AI-powered workflows, such as content creation, competitive and customer insights, sales enablement and campaign optimization, that help us move faster and with more impact.
Craft differentiated narratives for AI and agentic IT service solutions that cut through the noise with IT buyers.
Experiment constantly. Test new AI-driven tactics, measure results, and scale what works.
Stay ahead of the market: track AI trends, competitors and buyer expectations, and turn those insights into strategy.
You will also:
Own the end-to-end GTM motion, from launch planning through demand generation, sales plays and always-on programs, in partnership with digital and field marketing.
Design, run and test digital and field marketing activities with campaign and field teams, using what you learn to scale what works.
Build content and enablement programs with sales and solution engineers that fuel pipeline and close deals.
Drive thought leadership content, including webinars, blogs and case studies, that shapes the industry conversation for IT buyers.
Partner closely with product management to shape differentiated product investments and bring customer and market insights into the roadmap.
Build repeatable, scalable processes to train sales teams and operationalize internal and external marketing communications.
Lead product launches and develop effective sales training materials.
Confidently present to audiences of all sizes, including executives and customers.
You're Our Person If...
8+ years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, industry marketing or corporate marketing, including creating and setting strategy, building scalable programs and leading high-visibility programs as a senior individual contributor.
Demonstrated expertise across product marketing: solutions marketing, positioning and messaging, strategy and segmentation, and customer and competitive intelligence, with a proven track record crafting compelling solution narratives for technology products and a strong understanding of the IT buyer.
Demonstrated success owning go-to-market motions from strategy through launch and ongoing demand and enablement programs.
An AI-first, innovative mindset, shown by examples of using AI and agents to change how you work, create content or run campaigns, and by real excitement for marketing AI and agentic products.
Comfortable leading through ambiguity in a scrappy, fast-moving environment: you thrive launching new or emerging products, testing ideas quickly, and working beyond a traditional product marketing scope.
Excellent communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to present to executive leaders, cross-functional partners and customers.
Expertise in building strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and aligning global stakeholders, including driving alignment without direct authority.
Ability to create a range of marketing assets, including on-message product demo videos, concise pitch decks in Apple Keynote and Microsoft PowerPoint, and product data sheets.
Ability to use data and analytics to drive decisions, with a consistent track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics.
Even Better If...
Experience launching AI, automation or agentic products to enterprise buyers.
Experience building or scaling AI-enabled marketing workflows or tools.
Experience marketing to IT audiences, including IT Service Management, IT Operations, Asset Management or adjacent enterprise technology.
Familiarity with Salesforce products or other enterprise service management platforms.
